Hey, it’s been like a month and a half since starting keto. I’m down to 170 (from ~185), down to 20% body fat (depending on the day), and I haven’t measured my belly yet, but two notches tighter on the belt. Holy heckin gosh!

This is my first post since I was introduced to https://dev.to/kritner (I imported… most? of my previous blog posts). This seems like a pretty cool platform, hopefully I’ll be able to make more time for blogging (I think this is like the 5th time I’ve said this)

I’m pretty surprised by how ***not difficult*** this diet is. I am of course missing things every now and then — tacos, pho, and ramen for the most part. Really though, our diet hasn’t changed ***that*** much, and we’ve already lost a fair amount of weight. The most major change for our meals, literally, is that we’re no longer eating starches. No potatoes, no rice, no pasta— there are a few vegetables we avoid, and a lot of fruits, but (at least I) eat everything anyway, so I am not at all feeling I’m missing out on things (aside from the aforementioned tacos, pho, and ramen).

Oh, I guess the one major change to our diet is BUTTER COFFEE — and it’s really not as bad as it sounds.
